– Who owns alimony – the mother or the child? And I wonder if they are considered family income? For example, will they be taken into account when issuing a loan? And if alimony is still considered income, is it the income of the mother, the child, or both?
– The concept of “income” is enshrined in law in Art. 41 of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation. Income is an economic benefit expressed in monetary or in-kind forms with the possibility of being assessed in volume. Thus, not all financial or property receipts can be considered income, but only those that meet the requirements of tax legislation.
