Will there be an increase in pensions for disabled people on January 1, 2021?
The issue of increasing pension payments is relevant at all times. Due to the small size of pensions, disabled pensioners who need additional support to ensure normal life activities are especially worried. For each group of disabled people, the increase will be carried out individually.
Group 1 disability is considered the most severe, and it also requires more funding. In this category there is a factor that directly affects the amount of payments - this is the reason for which the group was received (the presence of an occupational disease or work injury).
If a citizen has become disabled under unfavorable conditions, the pension will be paid by the Social Insurance authorities. If a person receives a salary and has been disabled since childhood, pension payments will be accrued in the amount of 30% of the working salary.
As for pension payments for disability of the second group, the latest news cannot give specifics about the increase in pensions next year. But we can say with confidence that there is simply no money in the state budget for this event.
Rumor has it that next year the maximum increase will be 1,000 rubles, but no one has officially announced this yet. Based on this, disabled people of the second group will receive an allowance in the amount of 5,000 rubles every month.
For disabled people of group 3, the situation is similar; they can only rely on indexing. Next year, the increase in their benefits will most likely be 300 rubles.
Amount of disability pension in 2021
A significant part of the country's residents receive a social pension. For many it is the only source of income. What is the income of those who are classified as disabled?
From January 1, 2021, pensions for disabled people will not be increased. Pensions for this group of the population will be indexed only from April 1. This is due to the fact that the state is trying to reduce the burden on the budget by all available means. The best method to do this is to spread the financial burden over as much time as possible.
A significant part of our fellow citizens are wondering how much the pensions for disabled people will be increased in 2021. From April 1st it will indeed be increased somewhat. If we talk about the exact figure, then pensions will increase by 4.1%.
How have pensions changed over the last 5 years?
In 2012, the government established a fixed social pension, which depended on the amount of labor. In 2013, indexation was carried out on April 1. Now this date has become permanent for this procedure, taking into account the cost of living of the previous year. In 2021, pensions for disabled people were indexed by 4%, as an economic crisis has been “reigning” in the country for many years.
According to the results, this year the amount of pension payments for disabled people of the first group amounted to 9,920 rubles, the second group - 4,960 rubles, the third group - 4,215 rubles. Pension payments were accrued in the amount of 11,920 rubles to disabled children of the first group since childhood and to disabled children, and 9,920 rubles to disabled children of the second group since childhood.

What was the last increase in pensions for disabled people?
For disabled pensioners who live in difficult conditions of the Far North and equivalent areas, the regional indicator will be additionally applied to the amount of pension payments for the duration of their stay in this area.
If a citizen leaves for permanent residence in another area that does not have a coefficient, the amount of the pension will be subject to recalculation.

Social pensions in 2021 indexation for disabled people: EDV will be indexed by 3.2 percent
Until the next indexation in 2021, people with disabilities can count on cash payments from the government of the Russian Federation:
- disabled people of the 3rd group will receive payments in the amount of 4279.14 rubles.;
- disabled people of the 2nd group - the amount of payments will be 5034.25 rubles;
- disabled people of the 1st group, disabled children of the 2nd group - payments in the amount of 10,068.53 rubles;
- disabled children and people with disabilities since childhood of the 1st group - the amount of payments will be 12,082.06 rubles.
Although the increase this year is small, the monthly cash payment should also be taken into account. The value of EDV differs depending on the group. The monthly cash payment will also be increased. The indexation of the EDV will occur before the indexation of social pensions - on February 1 of this year. It is planned that the EDV will increase by 3.2 percent. Don't forget about the benefits provided to people with disabilities. Due to the difficult economic situation in the state, no additional indexation of material assistance for vulnerable segments of the population is expected this year.
How much will pensions for disabled people be indexed in 2021?
Even with such a difficult situation for the country and a lack of state budget, in 2021 the indexation of pension payments will be carried out in full, this applies to all categories of pensioners. Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets announced this.
This year, pension increases took into account the level of inflation. Pension payments were indexed 2 times, and the total percentage was 5.9%. In addition to indexation, citizens of retirement age received a one-time payment in the amount of 5,000 rubles.
In 2021, it was not possible to carry out full indexation, as the inflation rate was 12-13%. The pension was increased by the target coefficient, and not by the actual one, since this was quite difficult to do.
In 2021, pensions for disabled people will be indexed according to the inflation rate for the previous year. Despite various forecasts of expert analysts, the increase will be by 4.5% in 2021, and by 4.4% in 2021.
According to the latest news, information about an increase in the inflation rate has been confirmed. As for retirees who continue to work, there may not be an increase for them. As a result, about 10 million pensioners may end up with the same amount of pension payments.
