Conditions for assigning a pension in Bashkortostan

Pension benefits directly depend on the minimum subsistence level established in Russia.

Every year the figure increases due to rising prices and mandatory payments in Bashkiria and inflation.

The average pension in 2021 in Bashkortostan is 13,000 rubles. Payments depend on three indicators: length of service, pension points and the amount of savings that the person has set aside for retirement.

Today, the pension is formed from a fixed, insurance component and additional payments.

The fixed part is a kind of guarantee for all disabled people that they will not be left without income. This part of the pension is the same for all pensioners.

The insurance amount is calculated for each person depending on their work experience and contributions to the Pension Fund over the years of their life.

In 2021, contributions are recalculated into points and payments are assigned according to their number. Additional payments may be assigned taking into account documentary grounds.

Several categories of citizens have the right to receive government support:

  1. Men reach 65 years of age, women – 60 years of age;
  2. People with disabilities;
  3. Military;
  4. Citizens who have lost their breadwinner.

In 2021, pension subsidies are indexed by 6.6%. The minimum pension today is 8,380 rubles.

However, such an increase applies only to non-working pensioners. The second increase in payments is planned for October. If plans are implemented, recalculation will be made automatically.

The size of the subsistence level and the minimum wage, calculated using a new methodology, has been announced

According to Article 133 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, the minimum wage in the Russian Federation cannot be lower than the subsistence level. The logic is simple: in order to spend on primary needs, you must have at least as much money as these needs cost.

Wages must be paid to all employers with a regional coefficient, the minimum wage for it also needs to be increased, this is the position of the Constitutional Court and law enforcement practice. If a tripartite agreement is adopted, it will apply to regional employers (federal ones are financed from the state budget) that have joined it. Those who have not declared their refusal in writing with the motivation for such refusal are considered to have joined.

PMP and minimum age pension

There may be some confusion with the term “living wage” in relation to pensioners. There is a real living wage - the statistical data that Rosstat receives by analyzing prices for basic consumer goods in each region. This subsistence minimum exists in four types: per capita, per person of working age, per child and per pensioner.

A minimum pension at the PMP level is usually the case for those who have just reached retirement age and who have received a small pension. They were given an additional payment, and they will only be able to go beyond the PMP after the next indexation.

In each region, the cost of living for a pensioner in 2021 will have its own figures.
